Golf Tournament for Cancer Research
In June, 2018, the SWCRF 36th Annual Golf Tournament raised more than $240,000 for cancer research through two-dozen golf foursomes, sponsorships, and auctions.
Held at the picturesque Fresh Meadows Golf Club in Lake Success, New York, the golf event honored Ofer Yardeni, Chairman and CEO of Stonehenge Management. Mr. Yardeni shared a moving and personal connection to cancer and expressed thanks to Dr. Waxman for spearheading groundbreaking cancer treatments.
Ann Liguori, the host of “Talking Golf” on WFAN radio, presented Dr. Waxman with a $15,000 from her philanthropic foundation.
